Dear Parishioners,

 

​​​Each parish will have its own vision and mission statement so as to establish the course the parish will follow to achieve its ultimate objective i.e. Christ. The vision and mission statement of Queen of Peace Parish is as follows: "Fostering a Christ-
centered Community, making Jesus known to all by being Jesus to all".

 

This shows that as a parish community, we have made Christ the center of everything we do, and that we recognize the need for missionary discipleship—that is, we are to evangelize and bring Christ to everyone.

 

Also as a Marian parish, we draw inspiration from Our Lady who has taught us the fundamentals of discipleship, which include service, humility, compassion, and confidence in the Lord. More importantly, our Lady has assisted those she has met in discovering Christ, just as she did when she visited her cousin Elizabeth, who was filled with the Holy Spirit and the baby (John the Baptist) that leaped in her womb. Therefore, motivated by our Lady's love to her Son, let us continue to be a welcoming face for many who will come to learn about and accept Christ as their saviour.

 

In 2024, we have accomplished a noteworthy milestone: serving the Lord and the community of faithful for 70 years. Let us remain fervent in our endeavours to spread the Gospel of Love and keep our gaze firmly on Christ while cooperating closely as One Body. We pray that the Holy Spirit will keep guiding us in unison toward our shared goal of establishing God's Kingdom. Let us give thanks to the Lord!
