Catechetical Ministry

To nurture and build a strong Christ-Centred foundation for the youngest brothers and sisters of our parish, and to guide them towards a strong sense of reverence as they grow and mature towards youth and adulthood.

The Catechetical Ministry holds firm to this promise made by God Himself. As stewards of the Word, we aim to help:

  • Raise our children & youth in our parish community to be light of the world and disciples of Christ;

  • Ground them in God’s Word that they may become prophets for others;

  • Introduce Jesus through the Sacraments and prayer in their daily lives;

  • Create the experience of living out their faith as one Christ-centred community

  • Provide a supportive and loving environment for our kids as they grow their faith

Please take note that you will have to re-register your child for classes in 2021, even if he/she is currently enrolled in 2020. You will not be required to re-upload your child's baptism certificate if you have done so in previous years.

Classes will be held online over Zoom, given the COVID-19 safety measures. The link to each week's class will be shared in the individual level WhatsApp chat groups which you will be added to upon the registration of your child/youth.

Migration back to face-to-face classes will be conducted in phases in 2021, in full adherence to government guidelines. Parents will be consulted and informed via the individual class WhatsApp chat groups with regards to the next steps involved when this happens.

Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6

Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.
Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”
