MISSION

To nurture and build a strong Christ-Centred foundation for the youngest brothers and sisters of our parish, and to guide them towards a strong sense of reverence as they grow and mature towards youth and adulthood.

OBJECTIVES

The Catechetical Ministry holds firm to this promise made by God Himself. As stewards of the Word, we aim to help:

• Raise our children & youth in our parish community to be light of the world and disciples of Christ;

• Ground them in God’s Word that they may become prophets for others;

• Introduce Jesus through the Sacraments and prayer in their daily lives;

• Create the experience of living out their faith as one Christ-centred community

• Provide a supportive and loving environment for our kids as they grow their faith

Registration for QOP Catechism Classes 2026

Registration for QOP Catechism Classes 2026 will commence from now till 10 Jan 2026.  Please note the following instructions for registration for the following levels:

 

• For children aged 5 to 7 years old (Foundation Level and Level 1) in 2026

  • Parents will need to register their child via the mycatholic.sg website.  (Ensuring that they and their child have an account with mycatholic.sg) 

  • For step-by-step guide to on how to register their child on mycatholic.sg, Click Here.

 

• For children/youth already attending Catechism Classes in QOP and will start at levels 2 to 10 in 2026

  • There is no need for parents to re-register their children either through QOP or through mycatholic.sg.  Instead, they will receive confirmation and further instructions via Whatsapp from the catechist level leaders of their child’s new class. 

 

• For children/youth who would like to start attending catechism classes at QOP for the first time at levels 2 to 10 in 2026

  • Parents to contact Kelvin Lee at 98427045 or email to kelvin.leesk@yahoo.com. 

 

• There will also be a Help & Enquiry desk outside the canteen before and after the weekend Masses of 13/14 Dec 2025 and 20/21 Dec 2025 to help parents register their child for Foundation & Level 1, and enquire for other levels. 

 

• Registration for all levels will close on 10 Jan 2026.  We will confirm directly with parents by 17 Jan 2026 to inform if your child’s registration is successful.
